Why some people suck!

Suspicious packages part of Turner Broadcasting marketing campaign
By Mac Daniel and Andrew Ryan, Globe Staff
Turner Broadcasting acknowledged late this afternoon that the suspicious packages that ignited fears of bombs across Boston today were magnetic lights that were part of an outdoor marketing campaign for an adult cartoon.
Turner was promoting Adult Swim's animated television show "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" in Boston and nine other cities, according to a statement e-mailed by Shirley Powell, a company spokeswoman.
"Parent company Turner Broadcasting is in contact with local and federal law enforcement on the exact locations of the billboards," the state an e-mail statement said. "We regret that they were mistakenly thought to pose any danger."

Obviously, I visited with Taylor this weekend. Stopped by Beth's yesterday afternoon to catch up and have a little dinner. Talyor continues to grow and is only getting cuter!! She's really into playing with her toys on her mat (see photo). Her favorite toy is in front of her. It plays lots of music to which she shakes her booty...literally. It's adorable.

Her first birthday is just a couple of months away and I can't believe it!! She's such a little lady already!!

In other BTD news, John's been in Florida all weekend (lucky bastard!). Picked the perfect time to go because the day he left (Friday) was the coldest day of the year. While he was basking in 70-degree temps, I was freezing my butt off in single digits!!

It's been much milder since, thank God. Anyway, he gets back this afternoon. Hope he's not too tan!!

Damn Pats!!

Me&Danielle

Okay. This picture pretty much says it all. Yup, after dominating our hated rival Peyton Manning and the Colts in the first half of the AFC Championship Sunday night, the Pats choked in the second half, allowing the Colts to advance to the Super Bowl.

Now everyone's going to say that Peyton finally did it. He finally won the big game, gonig through the Pats to do so. I guess you gotta give it to him, but I really don't want to!! Call me a sore loser, like the Chargers!!

Despite the loss, Sunday was an absolute blast. Met up with Danielle, Phil, Molly, Mark, and Aindria at the Cask n Flagon and got prime seating with Beth (mother of Taylor, of course). She took great care of us!! From there, it was Dockside. From there, it was Sissy K's for some karaoke. From there, it was Hennessey's to meet the rest of the Bell in Hand crew. From there, it was me and John at my place doing shots of Dr. until 4 a.m.

Needless to say, I called into work on Monday!! : )

How was your weekend?

Meet Dosher (my kinda dog)

Dosher

I totally don't know if that's how you spell his name, but that's how it sounds. Anyway, this is Dosher. He's my rommate's boyfriend's new pooch and he's absolutely adorable. Now, I'm not really an animal person, but one look at this guy and I melted!! I'm already his favorite auntie, of course!!

Dan, roommie's boyfriend, bought him last weekend from some family in New Hampshire. He's already everything trained and is an absolute sweetie. For the first couple days in our apartment, he was very timid but he came out of his shell soon enough.

Don't ask me what kind of dog he is because I really don't know. I've been told, but I can't remember. All I know is he's super cute and doesn't shed! That's all I need to know, really!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I know I will Pats/Colts on Sunday for the AFC Championship? Who wouldn't!! "Cut that meat," Baby!!

I'm neglectful. Sorry.

I know, I know, I know! I've been horrible about keeping up with my blog lately. There are many reasons why (i.e. Too busy, Can't post at work, Pats playoff games)!! Anyway, there's still no excuse.

Here's what's been going on. Big news? The Pats knocked off the "No. 1 team in the NFL" last night. It wasn't easy, but they did it. It was one of the most exciting games I've ever seen. Not one you'd send to an instructional clinic (turnovers, turnovers, turnovers), but in the end, the Pats got the job done. Like they typically do at this time of year. Now, it's off to Indianapolis!! Cut that meat!! Cut that meat!!

Things with the boy are still going well. We're both really busy and have kind of opposite schedules. Haven't really been able to see each other too much lately. Hopefully, things will settle down a little bit.

Okay, that's all you're getting. 24's on!!! Jack's back, baby!!

Why I love my family.

UglySweaters

So this is the Milano side of the family (mom's side) on Christmas Eve. Well, at least those of us who elected to wear Ugly Sweaters. The Westwood contingent was the most well represented with parents Vinny and Linda and two of the three kids, David and Michelle, sporting ugly frocks. Myself, mother Nancy, and sister Krissy also represented!!

Michelle (last on the right) was the winner, Krissy second, me third. The photo doesn't do the winning sweaters justice as Michelle's had a trio of goats with googly eyes, one of which was yellow, and Krissy an eye-catching sweater vest!!

In other BTD news, things with John are going really well. I'm surprised at how easy it's been. It's been tough to see each other during the week because of our hectic schedules, but the weekends have been great!!

I got a new man, Pats are still alive in the playoffs, and Spring Training is right around the corner.

All in all, good news for Lady J!!
