Be still my beating heart!! What is that bright yellow ball I see in the sky? Could it be the…the…the…sun? I just can’t believe it!!

Yes, less than 24 hours after my bitchfest about the rain we’ve had here, the sun has shown its face. Temps are in the high 60s and it’s absolutely glorious day. For this, I am truly thankful. Apparently, God reads my blog. For this I am truly blessed.

Let’s just say the sun’s return has certainly put me in a better mood and I’m ready now more than ever to take off to Philly. Mare and I are leaving at 7 p.m. tonight (driving, unfortunately) and should be there by midnight. Good times!!

Well, this one’s short and sweet because I have to finish up here at work and get the heck out of dodge!! Don’t miss me too much!! Hopefully, I’ll be able to fill you guys in on the trip Monday, but no promises!! Go Sox!!
